Twenty four character strengths and virtues have been identified by psychologists that are found in everyone around the world across different cultures, philosophies and religions. They are grouped by six core virtues such as wisdom, courage, humanity, justice, temperance, and transcendence.

These character strengths are built into all of us for behaviours, thoughts and feelings and one way to identify our top character strengths is to take a scientifically validated self-assessment survey at The VIA Institute on Character website. The survey was created under the direction of Dr. Martin Seligman and Dr. Christopher Peterson both authors and distinguished scientists at the University of Michigan.

You can not just pick out your strengths randomly.
You need to take the scientifically proven survey >> here <<
You will need to set aside about 20-30 minutes and answer the questions honestly. Do not think too hard, pick what comes to your mind in the first instance.
